Costa Rica is full of adventure and natural beauty. Costa Rica is recognized for scenic beauty and biodiversity, four kinds of tropical forests, beautiful beaches on both coasts, seventeen micro-I climates, 855 species of birds, 221 species of animals and 12 000 species of plants, are among the natural assets of this small paradise. A consolidated system of protected areas, high educational levels political stability, Costa Rica has no army since it was constitutionally abolished in 1949. A perennial spring like climate and an average temperature of 22 C or 72 F, makes Costa Rica a very attractive tropical setting. San Jose has a large number of excellent museums, restaurants, pubs & theatres. |
